Returns and Refunds
Eligible products may be returned within 30 days after delivery. Contact info@vlautomotive.com or call +1 (802) 209-6481 before sending anything and include the order number, item, reason and photos where relevant.
Eligibility
Products must be unused, unmounted, undriven, unmodified and returned with the original packaging, labels, accessories and documentation. Tyres that have been mounted, wheels that have had tyres installed, cosmetic damage caused after delivery and products altered or used by the customer are not eligible unless applicable law or an accepted defect claim requires otherwise.
Return authorization and method
Approved returns are made by mail or carrier to the address supplied in the return authorization. Do not send an item to the public business address without written authorization. In-person returns are accepted only when confirmed in writing in advance.
Fees and shipping
There is no restocking fee for an eligible return. The customer pays return shipping for a change-of-mind, incorrect customer selection or fitment not expressly confirmed by VL AUTOMOTIVE. VL AUTOMOTIVE pays reasonable return shipping when we sent the wrong item, the item arrived damaged, or an accepted fitment confirmation was incorrect. Original free standard shipping does not create a deduction from an eligible refund.
Refund timing
After the return is received and inspected, an approved refund is processed to the original payment method within 15 days. A bank or payment provider may need additional time to post the credit. We will email the outcome of the inspection.
Exchanges, cancellations and refused shipments
For an exchange, request a return and place a replacement order after authorization unless we confirm another arrangement. Cancellation requests are accepted before fulfillment begins but cannot be guaranteed after dispatch. Refused or undeliverable shipments are treated as returns after receipt and inspection; avoidable carrier charges caused by an incorrect address or refusal may be deducted where permitted and disclosed.
Category-specific return considerations
Before requesting a return, contact us if the product is a mounted tyre, a wheel with a tyre installed, installed suspension, a powered electrical item, a modified or painted body part, a cut or drilled component, an item missing included hardware, or a core-charge product. These conditions may affect eligibility unless the item is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.
